Did you receive or find a TCC coin?
If you received or found a TCC coin, we don’t believe that it was an accident or a coincidence.
In Luke 15:8-10, Jesus told a parable of the lost coin. It goes like this...
“...what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?
And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
In this parable, like the woman who diligently sought for the lost coin, so even now, God is diligently seeking lost people. (See Luke 19:10)
In Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah said that, “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;”
This is what it means for people to be lost, whether we feel like we’re lost or not.
Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
And Romans 6:23 continues by saying, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Bible goes on to say in Romans 5:8 that, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
So, here’s the good news for everyone, every lost person...
Romans 10:9 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
This is because in Romans 10:13, the Bible says, “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”
This is the good news of the gospel! Eternal salvation is available through Jesus Christ our Lord! (See John 3:16)
In the parable of the lost coin, Jesus said that, “there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
The word repent is a good word which simply means to change the mind, to change direction.
Whenever a person repents and calls upon the name of the Lord, something wonderful happens! Eternal salvation!
This is the greatest news in the universe and why there’s cause for “joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Would you be willing to call upon the Lord Jesus today?
Here’s an example of a simple prayer that you could pray right now...
“Dear Jesus, I call on You to be my Lord and Savior. Forgive me of my sins. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I give my life to You. Amen”
If you just prayed that prayer and called upon the name of the Lord, please tell someone right away.
In fact, please let us know here at The Country Church. We would love to rejoice along with you!
